It is an achievement that, in the development of the Dianense city, can enjoy a unique space in a agricultural framework where you can enjoy the lungs of Mother Nature.

La green Way It is a project Department of Environment Dénia came true. Directed to all audiences has come to our city to escape from stress providing us, in daily doses, noise and traffic pollution.

Throughout 6,5 km of railway line that circulated from Denia to Gandia until 1974, native species coexist with rest areas, viewpoints and sport-enabled sites. And thanks to the collaboration of Vicent Ferrer i Hermenegildo, Author of the book Of Tramway rail transport: Caracaixent line-Denia, we can enjoy informative panels that detail the history of the railway that originally circulated in this way.

This road leads to the gates of stocks The Verger y Els Poblets paths among orange trees and an endless number of species characteristic of Dianense ecosystem. Of all the possibilities it highlights a bike path that leads us to Pego between mountains. A nice excursion that makes us reach places like the Pego-Oliva marsh or Font Salada.

All this is a step forward for the people and tourism, as they all can use green Way to spend their free time doing activities in a incomparable landscape while known a very important part of our historySometimes unknown to ourselves.

The entrance is next to Natura Garden on the corner of Camino de Gandia. It takes some indications from the center of Denia so that visitors find it out. Anyway it's a road bike even suitable for children because there is no car traffic.
