Dénia and Burgos, the two Spanish cities in the UNESCO Creative Cities network in the field of Gastronomy, have exhibited their projects at the III National Hospitality Forum, held last Tuesday 7 in Malaga and this year dedicated to sustainability, the local product and respect for the environment.

Both cities have been invited by Hospitality of Spain, the confederation that brings together the main Spanish hotel organizations and organizer of the forum, to participate in the dialogue table Sustainable destinations from Gastronomy, focused on the sustainable development proposals that cities commit to when joining the Unesco network.

Together with Vicent Martín, Research and Development advisor of the Dénia Office of Innovation and Creativity, Raquel Puente, focal point of the Creative City of Burgos, the General Secretary of Hospitality of Spain, Emilio Gallego, and Antonio Carrillo, president of the Carta Malacitana, a gastronomic entity that works for the recovery of the gastronomic heritage of Malaga.

The Forum was closed by Ferran Adrià, who spoke about the influence of his mythical restaurant El Bulli in the world gastronomic vanguard and in the training of chefs who have been consolidating trends and creating new and imaginative culinary proposals.
