A jury Pepa Font, Councilor for Culture of the City Council of Dénia; Miguel Llobell, Councilor for Education; Francisca Borox, representative of the Bureau Els Agents Socials per the formació of persones adultes; Vicent Guijarro, representative of the student body; Vicent Mas, director of the Center for Adult Education Denia and Maribel Font as secretary has given the XIV Prize Ciutat of Dénia for adult education to the Permanent University of the University of Alicante (UPUA).
The jury has decided to grant them the award for the defense and promotion of education and training critical, active, popular and Valencian, which are enhanced and develop improvement work, animation and consolidation of learning throughout life from an option sociopolitical and from an educational, scientific and cultural dimension, as reads the minutes.
The award will be presented on Friday June at 10 20 hours at a gala to be held at the Plenary Hall of the City of Dénia.
