The University of Alicante presents Monday, May 28, Gasterra, the Mediterranean Gastronomy Center. A project that was born with the support of the Generalitat Valenciana through the Valencian Tourism Agency and the City of Dénia.
Gasterra forms part of the UA Gastronomy project and its objective is to materialize a series of strategic and necessary alliances to grow the gastronomy sector, considered essential for the province and which, with tourism and agri-food, represents the 25 percent of the Spanish gross domestic product.
In the presentation, which will be held in the room Jauja de Baleària Port (The Harbour District) will be the rector of the UA, Manuel Palomar, the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, the secretary of the Valencian Agència del Turisme, Francesc Colomer, and the president of Baleària, Adolfo Utor.
