The Department of the Environment, through its Cyclingdénia program, has collaborated with the Union Cycliste Montgó in the edition of a guide of routes and bike rides to 2014.
The publication was presented by Councilman Environment and Sports, Juan Carlos Signes, the president of UC Montgó, Manuel Díaz and the Cyclingdénia technician, Florentino Terrades.
The guide details the departures scheduled by the club on Saturdays this year. All routes, along with the rest organized by the club every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, always start from the Plaza de Cholet, at 8.30 morning. Fans who want to participate do not need to make any prior registration.
The president of the Union Cycliste Montgó has indicated that the publication of this guide is twofold. On the one hand, encourage recreational use of the bicycle and, in turn, provide a reference and a meeting point for many cycling enthusiasts, national and international visitors to our city.
Councilman Juan Carlos Signes spoke of the harmony with the Union Cycling Club Montgó has led to collaboration in the edition of the guide, which Cyclingdénia has contributed to providing useful information to those circulating in Dénia cycling, tips, rules and recommendations .
The guide is available to the public at the Municipal Office of Tourism, Culture House, the Mercat Municipal, Cyclingdénia offices and sports. It will also be disseminated through social networks Cyclingdénia.
Signes recalled the actions carried out by the Cyclingdénia program since its start-up, such as the adhesion to the Network of cities for the bicycle or the bicycle registration system and announced that work is being done to introduce in the municipal traffic ordinance several articles related to the use of bicycles in the municipality.
