UNED Dénia seen its budget cut in 2013 1.000 euros

The Board of the National University of Distance Education met on Monday in Dénia to approve the rules of organization and operation, as well as the budget and the budget 2012 project Dianense 2013 extension.

This year, the Open University of Dénia have a budget of 945.000 euros, representing less than 1.000 2012 euros.

To the budget of Dénia, the Diputación de Alicante will provide 245.000 euros; the City Council of Dénia, 208.000 euros; Xàbia, 13.148 euros; Benissa, 5.650 euros; Ondara, 3.500 euros; Calp, 4.000 euros; Teulada, 3.000 euros; Pego, 4.800 euros; Gata provide 3.000 euros; Pedreguer, 3.700 euros; Beniarbeig, 1.700 euros; Orba; 1.700 euros; and El Verger, 3.500 euros.

At the meeting, the liquidation of the 2012 budget was approved, which leaves a positive remainder of 14.000 euros from the non-payment by decree Law of the payment of Christmas, which will include the 2013 budget.

Another point on the agenda was the Rules of Organization and Functioning of the UNED, which lacked so far and which will resolve and mark all the guidelines arising in the university extension.

The board meeting was chaired by the president of the council of Alicante, Luisa Pastor, and was attended by various mayors of the region and the center's director, Raquel Marí.
