A leisure in which all people have a place, for which it is necessary for society to ensure access to all equipment, services and community leisure programs. That is inclusive leisure.
And from the UNED in Dénia bet for this type of inciiativas with the celebration during this week of the course course "Inclusive leisure; a leisure for everyone", with the aim of putting on the table ideas that contribute to make this proposal a reality.
To this end, they have invited professionals from different fields to contribute their different points of view in the offices of the Fundació Gavilà Ferrer.
The course started on Monday 7 in April and will end on Friday, and among its programming include presentations on the development of social skills in people with disabilities through sports, leisure and free time; art therapy, digital creativity or cooking therapy.
On the opening day was attended by the president of the Athena Foundation, Domingo Comas and the professor of Sociology of the UNED, Josune Aguinaga, who spoke about the historical evolution of leisure as a social category.
