For the second consecutive year, the center associated UNED Dénia hosted the public presentation of the work order and Master Degree of some of his students. This student seminar was chaired by the director of the center, Raquel Martí and Mª Ángeles Menéndez, academic coordinator, who was accompanied by the Mayor of Dénia, Vicent GrimaltAnd the Councilor for Education and Culture, Rafa Carrió.
The director recalled that the work of Master Thesis and Degree "not only do they suppose a great brooch to the academic trajectory of students", but they can also be "the principle of other higher studies or opening a door to the labor market". Too? Stressed that "For the Associated Center of the UNED of Dénia it is very important to be able to provide students with the opportunity to disseminate and communicate to society the results of their work, the result of years of effort and work".
The Councilor for Education congratulated the UNED Dénia for allowing students with this seminar, "Acquire greater specialization, internalize the lessons learned and exemplify the effort and perseverance developed over years".
In the same vein the mayor, Vicent Grimalt, who also said that the city will always continue to support the work of the Open University in the city, said as he encouraged all students to pursue their studies and disseminate all homework research so that it can benefit all of society.
A total of seven students presented their work with themes as diverse as Immigrating to survive: employment discrimination of Moroccan women, In charge of the Dianense Anaís Palop; or The impact of the crisis on EU external relations with Asia Pacific, José Antonio Morán Macías.
Tomás José López presented the work The victim and the criminal proceedings, the new Law of the Statute of the crime victim; Eduardo Abril summed up the public the main lines of his study The recovery of the political subject in the philosophy of Slavoj Zizek; Ángel Jesús Pérez Sánchez discussed a topic related to the Marina Alta when referring to the Evolution of harmful entomofauna for growing grapes in the Pla de Lliber with the current criteria of climate change; Maria Julia Rosell Lopez, addressed the Gender violence and the influence of new technologies of information and communication; and finally Salvador Sendra Perello presented its main conclusions The cavaller to tombant the Mil·lenni: Figure de l'home to exceptional Catalan literature europeu dins contexte.
