The solidarity shop Dénia's Friends is celebrating. This year he celebrates his 25th anniversary raising funds and materials to help various associations and entities through donations.
In 2021 the collection of the solidarity shop amounted to almost 10.000 euros that they distributed among various organizations. Among them are Stretch out your hand, Cats, Red Cross or the Santa Lucia residence. However, in 2020, and due to the health crisis, the collection of the store was reduced by the long period of closure of non-essential shops.
Despite this, the long journey of Amigos de Dénia has made it possible to successfully celebrate these 25 years. Since its inception, the scope of the solidarity shop has been remarkable. For example, from 2001 to 2012 they raised a total of 92.102 euros.
The history of Amigos de Dénia goes back to the year 1997, when they opened the first store in Carrer La Mar de Dénia. It is currently located at Paseo Saladar number 93b And, to carry out their work, they have the help of approximately 20 volunteers.
