More than 2.000 kilos of food, products household cleaning and personal hygiene were positive balance left the day to collect food for the four social organizations currently assist in Dénia people with fewer resources: Interparroquial Caritas, the Extends Partnership your hand-Evangelical Baptist Church, Dénia Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
During the whole day yesterday the citizens took their contributions to the Social Center in the morning and to the town hall in the afternoon, making the campaign "Feed your solidarity" a resounding success. And it is that not only all those products were collected. In these donations must be added the approximately 2.500 euros cash raised from private donations that will go to the purchase of fresh produce for the two soup kitchens in the city.
Social, sporting, cultural and festive city entities joined the appeal and contributed their bit in addition to the hundreds of people since early submitted their contributions to the collection points.
