The next November 25 is celebrated again the International Day against Gender Violence, and yet another year, the council of social welfare has prepared a series of events so that the Dianense society raise its voice against this social scourge.
The events will kick off the 22 in November with the opening of the poster contest for young people in the Municipal House of Culture, in which the winning poster of this year will be exhibited, The alley, work of Vicent Mut Llodrà; as well as the second prize, Mafalda, of Paula Bertomeu Pérez, and all those who have participated. On Thursday 28 will be awarding prizes to the winners.
On Saturday 23 November will be the representation of the play Why, sponsored by the Provincial Council of Alicante, in the auditorium of the CEIP Llebeig, and on Sunday 24 will be screened the film "With the broken leg" in the Cineclub session.
On Monday, 25, World Day against Gender Violence, will celebrate the IV Vaccination Campaign organized by the Matria Association in collaboration with the Xarxa de Dones de la Marina Alta. Throughout the day they will be at Calla Marqués de Campo on the corner with Calle Diana, and also in the morning they will set up an information table at the Torrecremada market, and in the afternoon they will go to the doors of the Municipal House of Culture.
That same day, at 13 hours, a manifesto will be read against gender violence prepared by the Consell de la Dona in the town hall and the ETC will represent a performance.
Already in the afternoon, the Headquarters of Associations will host the workshop "Love me well", organized by the 24 Women's Center hours.
