El PSPV-PSOE presented on Sunday, 1 May, the candidacy with which they aspire to revalidate the mayor of La Xara by the hand of the current mayor, Maite Pérez Conejero. The event was held at the Social Center of La Xara and had the assistance of councilors and socialist mayors of the region.
Pérez Conejero was supported by Vicent Grimalt, Mayor of Dénia, who stressed the importance of having socialist governments in Madrid, Valencia, Dénia and La Xara and Jesús Pobre. Vicent Grimalt stressed that "We are very proud of the great work that Maite and her team have done in La Xara in the last 4 years".
Next to the mayoral candidate will be Juan Naranjo, Eva Alberola, Juan Garcia Arbona, Leo Ausina, Xavi Mut and Belén Delegido.
The socialist candidate recalled that in 2015 the Socialists "We had a real, easy program, made of what people were telling us, a program that we were distributing through the houses, a program that we were able to fulfill 100%. Now a new stage can be opened in which we already know what we have to do and we already know how to do it ".
