November 28 from 2018 - 15: 35

The City Council of Dénia continues with the Municipal Asphalting Plan initiated months ago with the aim of improving the road surface of some of the most needy roads in the municipality.

Next week, the improvement works will begin in the streets Sagunt, Pont and Germans Maristes, within the urban nucleus, the streets Io and Jupiter, in Les Rotes and Venus Street, in the Montgó area.

With a budget of 89.980,53 euros, excluding VAT, the works have been awarded to the company Pavasal, which has a month to run them.

The current state of the streets

The street Sagunt has a very deteriorated pavement, except in the area of the crossing with Patricio Ferrándiz, which was subsequently asphalted. The streets Pont and Germans Maristes present the same problem. In the latter, only the road with two lanes of traffic running parallel to the Torrecremada fairground will be paved.

As for Venus Street, in the Montgó area, the remaining asphalt section will be paved and, in addition, the clearing of the area will be carried out. The existing asphalt pavement will also be milled at the junction with the Camí de les Troies.

The streets Io and Jupiter, of Les Rote, present areas of very deteriorated asphalt and other areas with potholes caused by the roots of the trees, deficiencies that will be solved with the planned works.
