Since it opened its doors in 2003, the Hotel Dénia La Sella Golf Resort & Spa It has been the reference hotel on the Alicante coast. With its 27-hole golf course, designed by Jose María Olazabal, it has hosted different tournaments, including the European Nations Cup and the Ladies European Cup.
Since last December 17, the emblematic establishment closed its doors in order to subject the hotel to a complete reform, improve the facilities and services, opening all the common spaces to the sun, the earthy colors and the light of the area and giving the hotel a new "unique character", which will once again position it as a golf resort in this destination on the Spanish eastern coast.
During the closing of the hotel, the workers will participate in various training programs as this new cycle will be carried out by retaking the Marriott flag, with the next 1 in May at 2019 the expected date of reopening.
Parallel to the work on the common spaces, the rooms and the interior of the hotel are being renovated, focusing on creating “a current design”, contemporary, for the 178 rooms and 8 suites of the hotel framed in the style of the brand.
During these months of reform, Denia La Sella Golf Resort & Spa makes available to its clients the new and recently inaugurated Suites building – The Residences La Sella – which has 28 suites with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms that total 52 accommodation units as each suite can be divided into two rooms with independent access. These suites are made up of a Premium Room - Junior Suite - with private bathroom and a Suite with 1 or 2 bedrooms with living room, kitchen, 1 or 2 bathrooms and terrace.
Remodeling of common spaces
Also, the design of the common areas will focus on the incorporation of terraces into the hotel to expand spaces and bring our customers to the outside, light and earth color.
The lobby, with the space completely redefined, is extended to the outside with a terrace "flown" over the pool and with impressive views of the golf course and the Natural Park Montgó.
The restaurant, the terrace / bar lounge that opens onto the pool area, the lounges ... in short, all spaces are being updated to surprise our customers with a new, brighter, open and integrating product.
Other facilities that will be updated will be the gym and indoor pool, with a variety of spa, hot and water experiences. All this with the aim of offering unique experiences to the client: active tourism combining own facilities such as those described or the "Bike Friendly" zone with everything necessary to enjoy routes that include mountain passes for both road and mountain biking, hiking , diving, and a long etcetera of activities, in addition to the haute cuisine of the area: Jávea, Ondara and Dénia with four restaurants with Michelin stars, the latter declared a "creative city of gastronomy" by UNESCO.
