La Sella Golf Resort has hosted the most exciting, shocking and projection ProAm of the 2016 season, a competition in which young professional golfers who have just entered the European Women's Circuit have successfully participated.
The event, sponsored by the prestigious cosmetics firm Thalgo, was part of the actions scheduled in the Orientation Days for Rookies of the Ladies European Tour (LET). An initiative welcomed for the second consecutive year by La Sella Golf Resort where 21 new players from 12 different countries have been present in order to facilitate their adaptation process to the Circuit.
Special mention for the six Spanish golfers, among them the Leticia Ras-Anderica from Alicante, the latter formed from her earliest childhood at the La Sella Golf Academy. In addition, players from the screening of Natalia Escuriola, Nuria Iturrios, Noemí Jiménez, Elia Folch and Carolina González have also enjoyed the magnificent experience in this field from Alicante designed in its day by the legendary José María Olazábal.
"I never dreamed that my first event as a LET professional would take place in the field where I grew up. It means a lot to me to have enjoyed this great opportunity"Said Leticia said Ras-Anderica who like their young companions aspires to succeed and this season in the European Tour.
They all also enjoyed a talk given by the Spanish Marta Figueras-Dotti professional, recently named captain of the Spanish Olympic team at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016, which conveyed the importance of deeply love this sport.
The experience has been described as successful by both those responsible for the LET and by professional golfers, who have had at their disposal the magnificent facilities of the Denia Marriott La Sella Golf & Spa hotel.
Mara Bano, La Sella Golf liable in both the Rookie Orientation Days and the Pro-Am, commented that "For us it has been wonderful to enjoy the opportunity to meet and help these young golfers. In purely sporting level, noting that the winning team sponsored by the firm ProAm Thalgo was composed of amateurs Paco García, Chimo Torres and Maribel Lopez Porras.
