José Monfort Monserrat, a neighbor of Gata great lover of music and composition, has given the city a hymn to its patron saint, the Holy Blood.
Monfort has lived always linked to music since the 14 years was introduced in the musical world, and now, after retirement, is dedicated to compose pieces for employers and patrons of the peoples of the region. Among his work highlights the composition of the anthem of the Copa America and near 45 pieces. Towns like Pedreguer, Gata and Ondara already have their own anthems, and soon will do the same with Xàbia.
