The next 19 in October starts in Dénia a gastronomic event very much awaited by neighbors and visitors: the Route of the Guide Guia that this year reaches its eleventh edition. And it comes with novelties, such as the incorporation of new establishments, until reaching the 46 bars and restaurants, and the bet for a drink of our own, vermouth.
La XI Route of the Cover incorporates the drinks included in the price the mythical vermouth, a drink recovered from a time to this part as part of our gastronomic culture. Thus, the vermouth joins the cane and wine that are included with the 3 euros that is worth every tapa.
The Ruta de la Tapa has been gaining in quantity and also in quality, with tapas that in some occasion become part of the restaurant's menu and even come to represent Dénia internationally, as in the case of the winners of the last edition , who traveled with their creation to Rome to celebrate the Day of the Cover.
Awards for the riders
As in previous editions, a passport of the route will be given to the public, with the name of each establishment and the cover it presents, so that they value the tapas they try. This voting of the public will choose the winning caps of the 1º and 2º post of the Route.
The AEHTMA award will also be awarded to the best top chosen by a technical jury, consisting of a commemorative plaque and a hotel and breakfast night at the La Font d'Alcalà hotel in Alcalà de la Jovada, and the recognition of Dénia Tourism best lid made with autochthonous product. The establishment that has obtained this award for the best tapa made with indigenous product will also receive the gift of a meal or dinner tasting in the restaurant Mena.
The Route of Tapas also rewards the participating public by raffling several prizes between those who have filled out and delivered their valuation passport with a minimum of 15 tapas puntuadas. The prizes of the draw are a tapas dinner for two people in the restaurants that have obtained the first and second prize of the route; a hotel night, with dinner and breakfast for two people, courtesy of AEHTMA and a gift card worth 500 euros thanks to the Shopping Center Portal de la Marina between routers who have scored at least 40 road covers through the "Rutappa" App.
This App is downloaded for free and contains all the information about the route: photos of the covers and a system to evaluate them and to enter the raffle, geolocation of the participating establishments and other data of interest to the participants.
Among the novelties of this edition, Frank Martí highlighted the collaboration of the Association of Merchants and businessmen of Denia and the Association of Merchants of the Center Històric -carrer Loreto, who have created the campaign "De compres i tapes" and give their customers tics for the Route of Tapas when making their purchases in the establishments attached.
