The Neus Llago teacher, award for adult education

Jury XVII Prize Ciutat de Dénia per a Formació de Persones Adultes that is annulled in Dénia has decided to award this year to Professor Neus de Llago Segura after knowing his candidacy, proposed by the Public Center of Formació de Persones Adultes 'Miguel Hernández' of Sagunto.

Neus de Llago has been teaching from 1970, and throughout his career he has stood out for his defense of the public school and for being a pioneer in several projects, such as the implementation of the first intervention teams for the prevention of the marginalization of the minors or the first Summer School in the country.

The jury, formed by Jaume Llòpis Carbonell, representative of STEPV and of the Officers of the social agents for the Formació Permanent d'Adults (FPA); Vicent Mas, director of the FPA center in Dénia; Pepa Font, Councilor for Culture of the Ajuntament de Dénia; Pepa Sivera, Councilor for Education of the Ajuntament de Dénia and Maribel Font, Culture Technician and Secretary of the Jury, has decided to award this recognition "for her dedication to the educational task, especially in the training of adults, for her commitment, for her personal value as a fighter for the rights of the most disadvantaged people and for her dynamism work with professionalism and dignity exemplary throughout his life ".

Neus de Llago will pick up the XVII Prize Ciutat de Dénia per a Formació de Persones Adultes the next Friday 6 of June in an act that will be celebrated in the hall of plenary sessions of the City council of Dénia and in which the conference will take place Adult education: an experience of diversity, by Professor Joan Mª Senent.
