Agents of the National Police have arrested in the town of Dénia a 35-year-old woman of English nationality who was the president of a cannabis association located in that town, where drug substances, mainly marijuana, were allegedly trafficked.
The investigation has been developed by the agents of the Judicial Police Brigade of the Dénia Police Station who began the investigations after the president of a cannabis association was surprised at a police control with a plastic bag inside which she kept more than 8.000 euros in tickets and who put the police on the trail of the establishment.
A police device was quickly established, made up of plainclothes and uniform policemen who discreetly deployed around the association, being able to verify that most of the members or clients who accessed it left within seconds and after being intercepted they were intercepted. They apprehended various amounts of narcotic substance, mainly marijuana that they allegedly had acquired on the premises to later leave it with the drug.
Fully identified the president of the association, the agents proceeded to arrest her when she was preparing to open the premises, later a search was made of the establishment in which police officers from the Assigned Unit of the National Police to the Valencian Community also participated. at the regional level the competence in matters of inspections to establishments.
In this registry, the researchers intervened more than four kilos of marijuana, small doses of hashish, already rolled cigarettes, a precision scale and about 400 euros in cash.
The agents of the Assigned Unit of the National Police to the Valencian Community also drew up two administrative records for various infractions in the use of the powers assigned to them.
Of all that acted, the Court of Instruction of the Guard of Dénia was informed. With this operation there are already five carried out in the last year by the National Police in Dénia in the field of cannabis associations.
