Dénia Local Police joins the campaign of the DGT to raise awareness among condctores of vehicles on the importance of respecting speed limits. To do this, from Monday until Sunday and will hold a dozen controls on urban and interurban roads of the municipality.

From the DGT they remember that every year more than 300 people die in road accidents where speed is a contributory factor. Circular at an appropriate speed could prevent a quarter of those killed in traffic accident.
