The Local Police of Dénia prepares a special device to ensure that this weekend sanitary measures are respected

May 13 from 2021 - 14: 05

The Mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, and the commissioner of the Local Police, José Martínez Espasa, participated yesterday in the telematic meeting called by the Minister of Justice, Gabriela Bravo, with the mayors of the three provincial capitals and some thirty coastal municipalities to coordinate security measures and prevention of COVID-19 for next weekend, taking into account the lifting of the perimeter closure of the Valencian Community.

The Department asked the populations most likely to receive a large influx of visitors to take extreme precautions and control compliance with current measures: restriction of night mobility between 00 and 6 a.m., capacity in restaurants. and concentrations of people (limited to a maximum of 10).

The Local Police of Dénia has already prepared a new special device to intensify the monitoring of compliance with the measures in force for the weekend. A device coordinated with the National Police to cover, above all, the accesses in the city and night activity.

From the City Council of Dénia, citizens and visitors are asked for maximum collaboration and responsibility. In this sense, the mayor, Vicent Grimalt, recalled that "the low incidence figures of the virus have been achieved thanks to a great sacrifice that deserves to be respected so as not to lose what we have gained.

"Visitors are welcome and we need them to recover the economy, but we ask them for the same degree of responsibility that we have imposed on ourselves in recent months," added Grimalt.

Those of us who live here have no problem. This device is for those who come from outside. What do you expect them to respect? Just moving around is already disrespectful.
