A few weeks ago, the Platform in Defense of Public Health to the Marina Alta echoed and supported the case of a patient diagnosed with stroke.
As a result of this case, the Platform has denounced that "In the region of the Marina Alta its inhabitants are in inferior conditions with regard to health care for chronic patients (brain damage and long stay) and with respect to other regions".
From the Platform they mark "regrettable" the management that has been made of the case of the AAA patient, while considering "that the position of the Ministry of Health through the Commissioner has been deplorable."
After the events that happened, members of the Platform in Defense of Public Health of the Marina Alta have required the Health Department "to publicly explain to the entire population of the Marina Alta what assistance the Hospital de Dénia to patients diagnosed with STIC, because things remain unclear ".
