One of the summer appointments in the Dénia Tennis Club is the dispute of "Night Tournament of doubles". This past Saturday was disputed this competition, beginning the parties to the 19: 30 hours.
At one o'clock in the morning the quarter-final encounters were played, between the two best pairs in each of the groups. An hour later without a break the semifinals were disputed between the winning pairs of the previous tie.
After seven hours of non-stop play, it was time for the grand final. On the Club's center court Tennis Dénia, the pair formed by Derek Petken Jr. and Toya Alemany, faced the pair formed by Murray Chapman and Rosa Ferrer.
Finally and after a good encounter on the part of the four protagonists, the pair Derek-Toya was the winner of this edition.
Throughout the night there was a great atmosphere at the Dénia Tennis Club and at the end of the final the trophies were presented and several raffles were held among the attendees courtesy of the companies, Baleària, Sace Jewelry y Teckmar petrol stations.
