The pairing of Carla Herrero and Lauren Wells with 44 points got beat in the "IV Montgó Verd Tournament" which was held in the field La Sella Golf. This event was dominated by these two golfers from the start.
On the course designed by the renowned José María Olazábal, Carla Herrero and Lauren Wells showed their dominance in the game, not letting other couples manage to catch up.
All those present enjoyed this prestigious field, home to important national and international tournaments.
Apart from the game, all the participants could also enjoy the plant environment that, to a large extent, distinguishes La Sella Golf as one of the most beautiful golf courses in the Valencian Community thanks to the contribution of Montgó Verd, famous establishment of plants and garden items located in Xàbia.
Highlight, in the winning couple, the great projection of Carla Herrero, player formed in La Sella Golf, which contributed to the triumph of Comunidad Valenciana in the recent Championship of Spain Interautonómico Sub 18 Feminine disputed in 2017.
A habitual component of the national youth golf teams in recent years, Carla Herrero was proclaimed champion of Spain Benjamín de Pitch & Putt in 2010 before finishing second in the Alevín 2012 and Infant 2014 Spanish Championships, a very brilliant career that led him to be part of the team from Spain that won Portugal and France in the International Youth Matches in 2012 and 2014, respectively, to participate in the prestigious Evian Masters Junior Cup 2014.
