The second fortnight of the month of July in Dénia has exceeded the initial expectations of the tourism department. Finally, this period ended with an 85% occupancy in hotel establishments, an 60% occupancy in campings and an 80% in tourist rental accommodation.
As for the forecast of occupancy in tourist accommodation for the 1ª fortnight of August, the occupation is expected to fluctuate in a frame higher than 83% in hotels, 75% in campings and 85% in tourist rental accommodation.
Visitors at tourist offices
According to statistical data collected by Turismo Dénia, in its three points of information (Central Office, Office in Plaza Consell and Information Point in Explanada Cervantes), the influx during the second half of July has amounted to approximately 9.776 people, Which means an average of 652 people per day.
