The Ministry of Health, as every Friday, has announced the updated coronavirus data by municipalities, taking into account the results of the PCR tests carried out since last Tuesday in each health department of the Valencian Community.
In this new update, the Marina Alta has registered a slight increase with 17 new infections, 3 more than in the last update. In this way, there are already 10.137 cases that have occurred in the region since the beginning of the region, with 56 of these remaining active. Therefore, the accumulated incidence rises to 32,82 infections per 100.000 inhabitants. The impact of COVID still has to improve a lot to return to the new normality, which is declared when the incidence is less than 25 infections.
In the case of the capital of the Marina Alta, new infections have fallen again, having added only 1 in the last three days. Likewise, active cases remain in 12 of the 3.160 registered since March 2020. That is, the incidence continues the same as in the last update at 28,02 infections, bordering on the new normal but without managing to get out of the low level of risk of contagion.
