The new edition of «Educant en el present» will focus on sexuality and new technologies

The Department of Addiction Prevention, through the UPCCA (Community Prevention Unit in Addictive Behaviors), undertakes the activities for the new course adapted to the demands derived from the situation caused by COVID-19.

For the fifth consecutive year, a new edition of Educating in the Present has been organized, an initiative aimed at families in Dénia that wants to attend to the importance of the education of the youngest to avoid problems related to risk behaviors. And not only looking to the future, but also starting from now to solve problems that may arise in relation to the sons and daughters. We educate in the present, to avoid problems in the future.

The fifth edition of Educating in the present consists of two sessions aimed at mothers, fathers, families, teachers and other professionals, which will be taught on Wednesday 16 and 23 September, starting at 20:XNUMX p.m., at the House of Culture of Dénia .

The topics that will be discussed will revolve around current issues related to new technologies and sexuality.

On Wednesday September 16, the psychologist expert in child psychology and addiction specialist Maite Hernández Martínez and the senior technician in Social Integration and coordinator of social projects at Tindaya Social SL, Juan Manuel Flores Esclapez will offer the session “Educating about ICT. I want a mobile! ”.

On Wednesday, September 23, the nurse from the Dénia II Health Center, Rosalia García Guillamón, will speak about sex education for families.

The capacity in the conference room is limited, for which it is recommended to make a prior registration to the email upccadenia@ayto-denia.es or through the UPCCA Dénia social networks indicating the name, surname, contact telephone number and email requesting person email.
