Dénia's orange concludes the 'Menja't la Marina' days at the Mercat de Dénia

This Friday, 29 of December, end in the Mercat de Dénia the days of promotion of native products Menja't la Marina. In this last session the protagonism will fall on the orange of Dénia from the orange trees of the Hort Obert y Organic Tangerine.

The chef Pep Romany, from the restaurant Pont Sec de Dénia, will prepare a recipe with the orange as the main ingredient. It will be at the 10: 30 hours at the Mercat de Dénia.

The Menja't la Marina campaign is a proposal of the Innovation and Creativity office of Dénia and is part of the Plan of Action of the Creative City of Gastronomy of UNESCO, which has among its strategic objectives to promote the project RED Local Food Ecosystem in the Marina Alta based on a collaborative economy model, recovering the agricultural landscape and the regional demographic balance, and reconnecting people with cultural roots, the origin of food and territorial identity.
