This work, La Movida Madrileña, is considered one of the 20 best books on the history of Spain according to a recent article in Esquire magazine, and it includes more than a hundred images, hitherto unpublished, and the testimony of more of about thirty musicians of the time.
Eduardo Cimadevila, the author of the photographs published in the book, immortalized the live performances of the main groups of the moment between the end of the 70s and the beginning of the 80s: Kaka de Luxe, Aviador Dro, Siniestro Total, Burning, Loquillo and Trogloditas , Radio Futura, Los Secretos, Caligari Cabinet, Empty Beings, Invisible Dance...

In addition, these images are accompanied by exclusive interviews conducted by Ana Aparicio, a specialist in this musical-social movement. With the distance and perspective that the years give, the protagonists review their experiences of that golden age and analyze the weight and influence that their participation had on Spanish society and music, sharing a multitude of anecdotes and confidences. In total, more than 100 artists are present in one way or another in this book.

This approach to Madrid's Movida is completed by the photographic exhibition La Movida Madrileña.
