The prestigious Japanese association Wine & Spirits Culture Association has awarded the mistela Riu Rau, Bodegas Xaló with the recognition Double Gold, the second in importance given by this entity to wines and spirits from around the world.
The Riu Rau mistela, from the 2013 vintage, is made with Muscat of Alexandria grapes and is one of the most recognized from the winery of the Marina Alta. Now it is also internationally thanks to this prize of Sakura Japan's Women Wins Awards.
Bodegas Xaló, with more than 50 years of history behind it, is one of the most recognized wineries in the territory, offering a great selection of the best wines and mistelas that mix tradition with the latest technology.
