Last night the first evening of the Dénia Jazz Festival was held. This is the seventh edition of the famous event with the best of the international scene of the genre, filling the Torrecremada gardens with music lovers on Thursdays in August.
Those in charge of opening the festival on Thursday night were Mediterranean Gypsy Jazz Reunion, a group created especially for the Deniera event by some of the most respected musicians of Valencian 'gypsy jazz': the violinist Eva Slongo, the guitarists Jorge Riera and Fabián Barrazza , the double bass César Cortés and the drummer Carles Pérez.
