«La Mar de Ciéncies» ends its activity program with a dolphin watching trip

Last Friday ended activities "The Sea of ​​Sciences" with a workshop dedicated to dolphin watching, for what thirty students from Marist College moved from the coastal area of ​​Serra Gelada to the island of Benidorm while receiving environmental explanations.

With a catamaran they sailed by around a fish farm near the coast, but unfortunately there was no opportunity to see dolphins. During the trip participated in several workshops on the world of cetaceans by the group of Institut Marine Zoology Cavanilles Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Valencia.

In the afternoon the conference was held "The giants of the sea", which was attended by about thirty people and put an end to the programming of "Un Mar de ciències", organized by the Department of Environment of the City of Dénia, under the technical direction of the Network of Valencian Universities for the promotion of RUVID Research and Development and the sponsorship of the FECYT, Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology of the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
