The torrential rainfall in 10 minutes in Dénia forces the cut of four streets

August 09 from 2017 - 10: 36

We were warned: it was going to be a complicated Wednesday, meteorologically speaking, in Dénia. In just 10 minutes have been collected in the capital of the Marina Alta a total of 15,2 liters per square meter. Extrapolating this data to one hour, we are talking about approximately 91,2 liters per square meter having fallen, which is considered torrential rain.

Given the circumstances, four streets flooded by the rain have been cut: Barbacana street, Camí del Llavador, Camí de la Bota and the Maragal asagador at the intersection with Melva street.

At 10: 30 in the morning have collected 39,2 liters per square meter. The rains will continue throughout the day today, in which the orange alert for rains and the yellow for storms remain.
