Given the extraordinary situation of confinement that we are suffering due to the pandemic of COVID-19, the organization of the Competition has decided to add a new category of prize, assigning the allocation of the Third Prize, sponsored by the City Council of Dénia, to the best Breastfeeding photography done in confinement.
The breastfeeding photo contest has been during these 24 years a reflection of the society that surrounds us and to which we belong. "Also in these special moments for all, we want to be a documentary and social tool for raising and breastfeeding", says the organization.
"Women who have given birth in these months of alarm, who are raising and breastfeeding alone, away from their family environment, sometimes even separated from their partner, deserve that we treat this subject in a special way".
All those photographs that show some moment of breastfeeding in confinement, reflecting the various problems or situations that may occur at the same time as breastfeeding (teleworking, raising other sons or daughters, games and entertainment, will choose this award category. exercise and sport, household chores ...).
