The Governing Board of the Open University in Dénia approves a budget for 896.000 2017 euros

This Thursday, 13, in October, the first meeting of the Governing Board of the UNED was held in Dénia since the format of the Board of Trustees to the Consortium was changed last June. This change, according to the Provincial Deputy César Augusto Asencio, will allow establishing a legal-financial framework "clearer and more comfortable".

Also on economic issues the amounts that consorciantes (Provincial and Local Councils) still owed in this 2016 treated, Asencio has confirmed that the provincial institution will pay before the end of year near 300.000 euros (its entire contribution) having outstanding , still awaiting a final bureaucratic process "for which there should be no problems"Said the deputy.

In this regard, said Asencio "Hopefully, once the competence framework has been clarified, in the face of 2017 the Ministry will write the report in January or February, so that the Provincial can formalize its contribution during the first half of the year and not at the end, as is happening till the date".

The deputy referred to the fees due to tutors and depend heavily on the contribution that has yet to liquidate the provincial body. On this subject, the director of the center of Denia, Raquel Martí, explained that "At all times they are aware of the situation and that, when the Diputación pays the outstanding debt, they will immediately charge what they are owed". The director wanted to make a special recognition to the City Councils of Dénia, Benidorm and Benissa to comply punctually and efficiently with the pending payments.
