The First Exhibition of Vins Singulars turns Jesus Pobre into an international wine capital

With more than 1.300 attendees on Sunday, day dedicated to the general public, and dozens of businessmen visiting the exhibition on Monday, day dedicated to wine professionals, the I Mostra de Vins International Singulars i Poble Concludes with a very positive balance.

For two days the riurau of Jesus Pobre has hosted a total of 33 wineries from all over the world in a first edition of this show whose success already leads to think about next year's edition. Mara Bañó, promoter of this Exhibition, was very satisfied with the reception that the event had had in the region, as well as having the support of the restaurateurs, who will support the wine sector before the final consumer.

Javier Scotto, Mayor of Jesus Pobre, for his part, emphasized the reinforcement of the identity of EATIM that get events of these characteristics, making Jesus Pobre a reference in the markets of proximity and support to farmers and in this case Of the area.

The exhibitors who participated in the Mostra, 30 national and three international, considered this activity as an initiative to promote. The majority agreed to be surprised by the good reception that has had in the first edition, and they hope that in later editions the Mostra will grow and become a necessary reference for the impulse to small wineries.

The I Mostra is organized by the Associació de Vins Singulars i de Poble de la Marina Alta, an association that was born with the objective of promoting natural, ecological, singular, biodynamic, local and village wines.
