The hospitality industry will close completely in the Valencian Community

January 19 from 2021 - 14: 31

According to public television À Punt, the interdepartmental meeting of the Generalitat that is taking place at the moment would have decided the complete closure of the hospitality industry throughout the Valencian Community.

It still remains for Puig to make it official, which will be in the next few minutes when the press conference begins, but it seems that the hospitality industry has the hours counted. In order to lower the growing curve of the Community, the Government is expected to increase all restrictions, and may also increase the curfew so that it begins at 20:00, in the same way that they can modify the confinements of several municipalities .

Regarding JOSE's comment. I do believe that politicians do nothing more than hit the ground running. Surely this would change if at the head of the corresponding ministries there were people "from the union" duly well-known and with duly verified and independent, if possible, political ties.
That said, and as a retiree, correct José to tell him that I am very concerned about all this. This drift greatly harms all Spaniards and their recovery will remain to be seen if the guidelines are not taken with the seriousness that is required and we dedicate ourselves to solving the problems. problems of the present year 2.021.
Good morning and take care everyone. Please.

These decisions are political and not at all sanitary since it has been more than demonstrated that the restrictive measures of business closings and other restrictions make every day records of infections are broken even more than when no mask measures or any restriction were taken. What naivety of these politicians and people who think that it is the fault of the people that we get infected…. We must assume after 3 year of experience that each and every one of us is going to catch it.
Poor hospitality people and other businesses that are plunging them into poverty these politicians who, from their assured salary in their armchairs, allow themselves the luxury of taking these measures to look good with their voters who accept these closings, mostly retirees, politicians and civil servant of course since at the end of the month they have a guaranteed salary. But the rest of the citizens who give them ...

I totally agree. Restrictions probably don't work against the virus. But the lie continues and the middle class is being destroyed without a health reason, this is very clear.

    • Anon says:

On the contrary, the restrictions are not enough. Spain is capitalist first and foremost and the way to get the numbers up on its accounts is to keep it open as much as possible.
It is not difficult to see that without contact with the infected you cannot infect yourself.
Do some research on the 1918 Spanish flu which was almost the same as now, and it killed 50.000.000 people with the world's population half that of now. You will see that the important thing is to survive. Money is not important if you are dead.
In the big picture the politicians, safe in their homes with vaccines, don't care who you are if you die because at the end of the day, we are just numbers too.

I agree with the political decision but I disagree in singling out the poor retirees and putting them in the same package as politicians. Retirees deserve respect, they worked hard to have the country we have, politicians work hard to ensure only their privileges. As for the destruction of the middle class, here there is no middle class, qualified professional class with their respective companies, here the conditions for their flourishing have never been allowed. What is being destroyed is the only thing that tourism, tourism services, construction and real estate speculation have allowed to exist. So if you destroy that, there is nothing left.
