The Generalitat is working on an unprecedented logistics deployment for the organization and correct development of the University Entrance Exams, which will take place on July 7, 8 and 9 in the Valencian Community and which are scheduled to take place around 20.000 students.

The Minister of Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society, Carolina Pascual, and the Minister of Justice, Interior and Public Administration, Gabriela Bravo, held a meeting on Wednesday via videoconference, which was also attended by the regional secretary for Security and Emergencies, José María Ángel, the autonomous secretary of Universities and Research, Carmen Beviá, as well as the general directors of Public Health, Ofelia Gimeno, and of Educational Centers, Joaquín Carrión.

At the meeting, the needs of conducting the tests were studied, as well as the measures that must be adopted to guarantee the health and safety of all those involved in the PAU.

In this sense, the sanitary recommendations for separation between students during the tests were analyzed, as well as the implementation of disinfection and cleaning protocols, before the PAUs were carried out and after each exam day.

In addition, the Generalitat will distribute hydroalcohol masks and gels for the protection, both of the students, the teachers and the rest of the people who will participate in the organization and development of the exams.

Carolina Pascual thanked the conselleries for their willingness and collaboration to coordinate the tests with enough time in advance and highlighted the coordination work that exists between them to guarantee health and safety so that they develop in optimal conditions.

In this sense, the Management Committee of the PAU will meet this Thursday to continue with the work of coordinating the tests, as well as to decide the suitable spaces in which they will take place.
