In order to unlock the purchase operation of the Hospital de Dénia, has been approved in the plenary session of the Consell of today the payment of the definitive liquidation on the part of the Consellería de Sanidad to the companies that are in charge of managing the center at the moment.
This payment is part of the economic debt contracted by the Consell for the service provided by these companies between the years 2009 and 2013. In total, the sum amounts to 47'6 million to be paid by Health, with delays after friction in the negotiations, because, as they recalled from the hospital, the debt had to be paid in the first quarter of this year.
The lack of resolution of this concession by the Ministry of Health could mean a delay in the acquisition of Dénia Hospital, delaying its purchase until the first semester of 2023.
