Foundation Baleària has signed an agreement to join as an associate partner of the company Tradigenia de Dénia, which is part of the European project Digital Acces. This project, which began in the year 2017 and of which seven partners from six European countries are part, aims to provide older people with the necessary digital skills to access public services online.
One of the project's objectives Digital Acces is to create a platform e-learning y e-assistance that integrates a virtual assistance tool to facilitate the learning of the necessary skills for digital literacy.
The agreement reached between the Fundació Baleària and Tradigenia, the project partner in Spain, aims to contribute to the dissemination of the results of the project and the organization of international meetings in Dénia. "The purpose of this project, which will be carried out until 2019, is that the elderly are able to take advantage of the benefits of the internet, providing the necessary learning to make them feel safe using online tools to manage their health and quality of life. life ", explained Javier Díez, managing partner of Tradigenia.
Ricard Pérez, manager of the Fundació Baleària, has expressed its satisfaction with the agreement reached that integrates the Fundació Baleària in a European project that will contribute to improving digital skills training for the elderly who are currently at a disadvantage compared to other groups "that are part of the digital era or have already been born in it".
