It seems like yesterday that we celebrated the last Holidays of Sant Roc and, with them, we enjoy the week of Moors and Christians. But almost 3 months have passed and the rows are forming again for the new year.

If a few days ago we knew the new President-elect of the FEMMICC, this weekend was the presentation of the Mora Captaincy of 2020, which will exercise the Filà Abencerrages and his captain Isaac Bolufer. Therefore, they celebrated a gala dinner where the protocol was imposed and the chilabas were left in the drawer to give prominence to the ties and dresses. In peacetime it is the right thing to do, but everything indicates that soon, in August, they will need their warlike clothing again.

David Ochoa was in charge of presenting the event after a brief speech by the new President, Jimmy Ferrer, in what was his first official act in office. One by one, the First Trons of each row took their places in front of their flag, ending with the Christian Captaincy of the Filà Els Creuats, to receive the great hosts: Miguel Ángel Martínez as Ambassador, Tania Bolufer as Flag Bearer, and Isaac Bolufer as Captain.
