In these moments of sadness and uncertainty about the future, the clubs have received the welcome news that, from the Football Federation of the Valencian Community, total travel aid has been paid to all the clubs that have requested it. In total, € 235.000 has been issued from the federal coffers.
This payment corresponds to the second term of the displacement aid, since the first term became effective in November. 710 clubs benefit from this aid, which means a total of 5.264 teams.
It should be noted that the President and the Board of Directors of the FFCV have decided to pay for the trips as if it had been carried out the entire entire season (until 30-06-20) despite having suspended the competition for COVID-19.
This decision is a consequence of the will to guarantee all the payments committed by the pending subsidies to pay to the clubs. The amount of this subsidy has been credited to the internal accounts of each club in the FFCV. Subsequently, from the federation the entry of this aid has been communicated by sending an email to each club.
How is aid distributed?
All clubs are eligible for this aid since the FFCV calculates the kilometers traveled by means of a computer application. There is a different scale depending on whether the club requested the aid and presented or not the documentation required by the federation, be up to date with the Treasury, Social Security, maintain a CIF registered with the Treasury and a bank certificate of the account of subscription to the club.
