And this year the fair will emphasize education in ecological values and respect for the territory in the smallest of the family. This was explained Councilman environment and climate change, Josep Crespo, in the presentation of this new edition, which was also the councilor of culture, Rafa Carrió, the organizer of the fair, Rodolfo Iglesias, and the municipal technicians of culture and environment, Maribel Font and Rafa Urios.
Ecodénia will this year again with information tables about environmental issues, and in addition, from the 5 8 until October there will be an activity for students 800 3º and 4º all primary schools in Denia. During those days, students attend a play in the Municipal House of Culture in which it promotes ecology, and activity will be complemented by simulating a market in which students can acquire and learn about the different products that gives us the land.
In addition, on Friday 9 there will be a recycling workshop organized by the Consellería de Medio Ambiente in which participants will learn to create utensils from waste.
Support local agriculture

Sixty stops at fair 450 meters
In the 450 linear meters that has the fair a total of 60 stops cheeses, breads and duleces, honey, nuts, jams, organic wine, organic fruit and vegetables, medicinal and aromatic plants, natural cosmetics, footwear and handmade textiles will be installed and dietary products, among others. Also this year two furnaces will be installed: one in which wood brown bread will be prepared and other gas for cooking homemade pizzas.
The exhibitors will come from the Comunitat Valenciana, Andalucía, Cataluña, Baleares, the two Castillas, Murcia, Aragón and Madrid.
Crafts workshops and children's activities
La XIX Fair of Health and Natural Food EcoDénia It will be completed with a dozen demonstrations of crafts like clay work, esparto, bobbin lace, leather, textile, bookbinding, Socarrats, Wood lathe and macramé bracelets.
The little ones will have at their disposal every day a play area with workshops and inflatables. Also in the evenings, from 18: 30 to 20: 30 hours, there will be a fireta of Jocs Populars organized by Iniciativa Betània.
Parallel activities
Addition activities scheduled for the celebration of 9 d'Octubre, On Saturday, 10, at 19: 00 hours, there will be a demonstration of Tai-Chi and Wu-Shu in Glorieta. On Sunday 11, at 18: 30 hours, the group JeanJass will perform at Els Quatre Cantons.
