The Councilor for Citizens Sergio Benito, "within the framework of an orange initiative to promote the real involvement of the City Council in local health", held last week a meeting with the management of the Hospital of La Pedrera.
At the meeting, the team led by Jaume Morera transferred some of the proposals they have in mind, among which the development of a biosaludable route in the vicinity of the hospital center, in the La Pedrera area and very close to the Montgó.
Other proposals were possible food or lodging subsidies for companions, but they placed special emphasis on the promotion of volunteer support. Benito is committed to transfer these initiatives to the plenary and work "to make them a quick reality".
Benito already met two weeks ago with the team of Commissioner Juan Puig to move the motion presented by Ciudadanos, augmented and supported by all the parties in the plenary in relation to the free television service and the aid for food or transportation for the companions. "It is not about promising a total free, but focusing on specific aid to specific needs"explained the councilman.
That the senior falleras and their relatives are presented as volunteers, so they will do a real service to the community. And that they do it by bicycle because of the biosaludable route.
A biosaludable route? They can explain exactly what you want to say. In the publication they end up talking about free service through volunteering. Let's see how many people volunteer for the services expressed. With volunteering is a way to save money to institutions. That volunteering would have to be jobs gentlemen. As for free food, that would be a utopian chimera. I do not see it feasible.
Perhaps it could be possible for the hospital or town hall to help those of us who have hospital documents showing we can not get an appointment to be assessed in Alicante for a car badge in less that 18 months. I am 80 years old and still living independently but without being able to get around to the shops or restaurants because it is not possible to park close to anywhere in Denia. Such a simple thing to help and old person but not wait 18 months and die before getting help.
