Next Saturday, May 4, the streets of Dénia will be filled with art. Neighbors and visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the best contemporary dance companies in the area for free in different areas of the city thanks to a new edition of Dansant to the Navy.
The Councilor for Culture in the City of Dénia, Rafa Carrió, explained that the objective of this cultural proposal is to promote and disseminate contemporary dance in public spaces through quality programming. After the success of the first edition, held last year, Dansant to the Navy returns with prominent names from the dance scene.
The artistic director of the event, Isabela Alfaro, has detailed the programming, "a considerable qualitative leap" According to his words, during the whole day will bring different proposals to citizens.
As in the past year, dance companies from Dénia will have a special visibility in Dansant the Navy. From the 18: 00 hours, in the Plaza del Consell, will act the schools of Patricia Sentí, Pas de Quatre, by MªÁngeles Signes; Y Dénia Dance Academy by Miguel Ángel Bolo.
