The mayor of Dénia announced today that the Ministry of Social Welfare has granted the Dénia City Council a subsidy of 638.240 euros to finance the arranged beds of the residence and the Day Center of Santa Lucia in the 2014 annuity.
In the Santa Lucía Nursing Home there are 40 arranged places of a total of 90 and in the Day Center the department subsidizes 20 of the existing 30 places. According to the first mayor, "It is an important and very well received help, especially in the current situation."
The City Council insist that the residence will not fail to be municipally owned and the residence and the center of Dénia are "a priority service" for the municipal government. Ana Kringe he recalled that it is working with the Government to maintain service municipal ownership when in 2016, entry into force of amendments introduced by law rationalization and sustainability of local government.
