"Don't stop the machinery"That's the commitment that has adquirdo the Territorial Director of Education, Tudi Torró, with regard to the proposed new school of La Xara. These days, the architect of the EATIM working on the project of the new building that will house the center's facilities and which will take over the Ministry of Education, and from now until the center a reality, hope is not lost longer than necessary.
These statements were made by Tudi Torró in what was the first visit of a representative of the Consellería to the barracks of La Xara for eight years, where he held a meeting with both the mayor of the EATIM, Maite Pérez ConejeroAs with the management team of the school.
Torró said economic heading amounting to almost two million euros, will be included in the budgets of 2016, the year in which the start of construction is planned. If there are no setbacks during the process within 20 days the new project will be presented at the Ministry, which will have to be reviewed and modified if necessary.
The tendering of the works would be carried out in the first half of 2016 and before the end of the year construction work would be underway. The deadline for execution of works is about 12 months, and once they are finished you have to pass a series of inspections and cleaning work, so from La Xara confident that before the end of the year 2017, without squaring with the start of the course, students will be able to brand new facilities.
