The countdown begins so that the urbanism in Dénia becomes clear. The Ministry of Housing, Public Works and Vertebration of the Territory has completed the procedures for the approval of the Dénia Transitory Urban Regulations (NUT).
In particular, the general director of Territory, Urbanism and Landscape, Rosa Pardo, has announced that "It is expected that the final document will be sent in the coming weeks for approval by the Consell, in any case before the December 20, in this way it would be possible to recover normalcy and legal security in the urban activity in Dénia".
Pardo has explained that "Following the allegations made during the period of public information, as well as the exchange of information and documentation with the City of Dénia, and meetings held with the town hall and social agents, the Ministry has drafted the final version of NUT introducing certain adjustments and improvements that do not substantially modify the initially proposed document ".
What happens with the suspension of licenses?
Tomorrow Friday, 19 October, ends the period of suspension of licenses in some areas established by the City. In this regard, the Director General has clarified that "taking into account that the session would have a maximum period of two months to resolve the application for licenses, the effects of lifting the suspension would begin to occur on December 20, a date that limits the Ministry to approve the new rules transitory, thus avoiding the legal uncertainty that could lead to ".
The General Structural Plan, in process
Parallel to the drafting and approval of the NUT, Dénia works on the drafting of the General Structural Plan (PGE), a document that is currently in the process of municipal processing. According to Pardo, "The City Council of Dénia submitted the plan to the public and consulted the affected administrations and, as indicated by the city council, the allegations have been analyzed and all or almost all sectoral reports have been obtained. However, there are still procedures essential prior to the approval of the plan as the strategic environmental and territorial declaration ".
