The Valencian Community has registered the day with the lowest hospital admissions for people with coronavirus. In the last hours, 11 people have required admission to any of the Valencian hospitals, a figure that maintains a downward trend and represents only 8% of all confirmed cases on Monday.
In total, 626 people remain hospitalized at the moment. Of these, 114 are in the ICU, a figure that has also been decreasing in the last two weeks, specifically 52%.
On the other hand, there have been 7.506 discharges of people with coronaviruses (59 since the update this Sunday), which means that 6 out of 10 of the diagnosed cases have already been cured of the disease. By provinces: 1.006 in that of Castellón, 2.801 in that of Alicante and 3.699 in that of Valencia.
In addition, 148 new positive cases have been detected, bringing the total number of positives to 12.834 since the pandemic began. Of these, 14 are in the province of Castellón, 15 in Alicante and 119 in Valencia. Currently, 4.049 cases are active, 1 in 3 diagnosed cases.
By provinces, the total number of positive cases is 1.842 in the province of Castellón, 641 active (61 hospitalized, 15 of them in the ICU), 4.324 in the province of Alicante, 1.071 active (172 hospitalized and 43 of them in the ICU), and 6.668 in the province of Valencia, 2.337 assets (393 hospitalized and 56 of them in the ICU).
To date, there have been a total of 1.279 deaths in the Valencian Community: 195 in the province of Castellón, 452 in Alicante and 632 in that of Valencia.
The number of Health professionals who have already been discharged are 1.509 people. The total number of positives is 2.288, of which 779 remain active at this time (75 in the province of Castellón, 295 in that of Alicante and 409 in the province of Valencia).
Regarding the number of tests carried out for the detection of coronaviruses, a total of 166.508 have been carried out (122.806 through PCR and 43.702 through rapid tests).
Updating the situation in residences
Of all the centers that have presented a positive case for coronavirus, more than half do not have any at the moment. As of today, there are positive cases in 76 centers (12 in the province of Castellón, 19 in that of Alicante and 45 in the province of Valencia).
