The Valencian Community continues with the lowest accumulated incidence in the country, both in the last 14 days and in the last 7 days. In the first case, it stands at 101,12 cases per 100.000 inhabitants, and in the second it is reduced to 37,29 cases per 100.000 inhabitants. The minister, Ana Barceló, has indicated that "Although the data is optimistic, we must not lower our guard and we must continue to comply with all security measures to prevent the virus from spreading."

Regarding the latest data, the Ministry of Universal Health and Public Health has registered 1.210 discharges to patients with coronavirus since the last update, which is why there are already more than 40.000 people who have overcome the disease in the Valencian Community. Specifically, 40.973.

On the other hand, we must add 438 new coronavirus infections confirmed by PCR test, which put the total number of positives at 39.222 people. Thus, there are currently 5.935 active cases, which represents 12,23% of the total positives.

Valencian hospitals currently have 458 people admitted, 74 of them in Intensive Care Units. This represents a reduction compared to last week of 8% in the case of hospitals and just over 6% in ICUs. On the other hand, there have been 5 deaths from coronavirus since the last update, so the total number of deaths is 1.630 people.

The total number of tests carried out for the detection of the coronavirus amounts to 1.089.594, of which 939.387 have been through PCR and 150.207 through rapid tests.
